Kit's and Rachel's Bridals
When Rachel asked me to do her flowers, she told me she wasn't too picky on the design.
She showed me a variety of bouquets and they all had one thing in common...Stargazer lilies. (They are beautiful). I had not yet attempted a cascading bouquet, and figured this would be a great opportunity when I knew I had a bride that
would be happy with almost anything.
would be happy with almost anything.
I was a little nervous to try, but surprisingly, it wasn't too hard to do!
The thing I was most stressed about was the boutonniere.
I had to get a little creative because these lilies are HUGE!
I couldn't get a small lily to open, so I took the smallest bloom of the bunch
and removed three of the petals. It was still a very large boutonniere,
but I hope it worked okay. It was a pleasure to do these flowers,
and I hope I can come close to duplicating it for their wedding day!
Thanks to Alexa for holding the bouquet while I took the picture!

Blake's and Dodie's Wedding

I couldn't decide which view I liked of this bridal bouquet, so I just uploaded all of them!
I also want to thank the bride for letting me share her photos!
While I was adding the ribbon to the bouquet, I decided I really love teal with red roses!
It was such an honor for me to do these flowers for my wonderful neighbor Dodie, and
I wish she and her new hubby, Blake, many years of happiness!

Uncle Lawrence's Funeral
Sadly, I have lost 3 aunts and an uncle over the past year.
Each time my family orders flowers, I keep thinking
"I really need to learn how to do funeral flowers." When my sweet Uncle Lawrence
passed away last Monday, I asked my parents if they would be okay with
me attempting to put together a spray. They agreed, and thanks to my mother-in-law
who helped me a TON, I was able to put together this spray. It's a little hammered
after traveling from the funeral home to the chapel for the service,
but overall I was pleased with how it turned out. Love you, Uncle Lawrence.

Sergio's and Sara's Wedding
The bride chose blue, green, pink, and orange for her colors,
and she wanted Gerbera daisies.
Because I couldn't order blue gerberas, I found a floral spray paint that I could use.
I definitely need to practice my spray painting skills!
Still, the flowers turned out nice, and the couple looked great!

Jordan's and Kaitlin's Wedding
This wedding was so much fun to do! They held their reception in a barn,
and the billy balls and baby's breath just added extra charm to their event.

Jaden's and Eliza's Junior Prom
This all started with a dance corsage! I still have not perfected the art of the wrist corsage, but hopefully I'll have it down by the time the next dance rolls along. Jaden and Eliza, you both look great! Thanks, Candalynne, for being my wrist model!

Trent's and Angela's Wedding
When my niece, Angela, wanted lilies in her bouquet, I was very intimidated.
They can be tricky to work with. This was my second wedding, and I ended up loving the orange lilies with the yellow roses. I did not arrange the flowers on her cake,
but I would be happy to order extra flowers for your cake decorater to use.
