Shaun's and Andrea's Wedding

My nephew sure knows how to pick 'em!
I thought it might be a while before he settled down,
but once he met his new bride, there was no turning back!
Andrea is a doll, and such a flexible bride.
She knew what she wanted, but also knew that with seasonal
flowers you may not get what you want.
We were hoping for peonies and ranunculus,
but when we weren't able to get ranunculas for the wedding,
Andrea was very gracious about it and put her trust in me!
She loved her bouquet, and I thought it turned out pretty, too.
Congratulations to such a great couple!
Love you both!

Lewis' and Kylee's Wedding

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED! the way these flowers turned out!
Coral roses are beautiful, and I think calla lily bouquets are just sleek and classic!
I made a toss bouquet with the extra callas and roses.  I think it would have
made a gorgeous bridal bouquet, too.
Beautiful flowers for a beautiful bride.
I hope she and the groom enjoyed them.

Mother's Day 2014

What a wonderful excuse to do flowers!  Mother's Day!
I absolutely love white and lavender roses, so was glad I got to do an arrangement
with my two favorite color roses, and yellow roses just make me happy!
(The small arrangement is one I did from my sister to our mom.)
I even used a little symbolism with the two arrangements with white roses.
I gave the lavender roses to my mother.  There are nine lavender roses
representing her nine children, and six white roses representing my six children.
I did the same with the yellow and white roses for my mother-in-law.
She had seven children, so there are seven yellow roses in her arrangement.
It was so fun to do these for two of the most special ladies in my life!

Jacob's and Wendee's Wedding

This wedding is very similar to the last wedding I did.
I love working with hydrangea!
It just gives a lovely shape to the bouquet.
It was a pleasure to do these flowers for such a sweet bride.
Congratulations to Jacob and Wendee!

Kylee's Bridals

I really need to hire a photographer!
Wish it was in the budget!
I thought this sceptre bouquet of tall calla lilies looked so elegant.
I think calla lily bouquets are stunning!
Wish the pictures did it justice, and I hope the bride enjoyed her bouquet!
I know I enjoyed making it!

Syracuse and Clearfield High Prom 2014

It's been a crazy couple of weeks!
I was busy last weekend doing flowers for Syracuse High students,
and today it was Clearfield High's turn.
Here's a sample of what I've done.

Shaun's and Andrea's Bridals

My nephew Shaun and his fiance Andrea are planning a May wedding.
Andrea love peonies, but we weren't able to get them for her bridals.
Hopefully come May I'll be able to make this bouquet even
more beautiful and full with bright coral pink peonies and some coral dahlias.
For now, I hope she enjoyed this cute little bouquet featuring ranunculus.

Steve's and Ariel's Wedding

So, this is the first wedding I did where I didn't actually meet with the bride.
I did meet with her mother, though.
It's also the first time I've worked with Calla Lilies.
They're beautiful!  Although, I was hoping they would be a darker purple.
One thing I keep learning is that you can't be sure what you're going
to get when ordering fresh flowers!
Still, I think they turned out beautifully.
I hope the bride and groom (and the bride's mother) agree!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
